Mission: Effectively maintain an academically focused program designed to address core fundamentals in helping Soldiers increase their GT scores and advance their careers, thus shaping the potential Army leader and warfighter’s learning, aptitude, and leadership. These core fundamentals are aimed at development and application to both garrison and field settings to be incorporated into daily battle rhythms across varied operational environments.

Commanders and supervisors with Soldiers planning to attend TADC need to ensure their Soldiers are in a paid military duty status, comparable to IDT. The type of paid status is at the discretion of the unit and includes, but is not limited to: in lieu of (ILO) drill, ADOS, AT, RMA, Military Leave (for Federal Technicians), PTO, etc. It is important to note that OLS and federal funds have distinct LOAs and must be handled IAW state and federal policies. Moreover, Soldiers who are Technicians must work with their leadership to be placed in the appropriate pay status to attend TADC. The TADC instructor(s)/facilitator(s) are not responsible for and do not handle or get involved with the pay status of attending students. Students attending WOCS or OCS within the year take priority of class seats. The rest of the seats are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Commanders and supervisors may request a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to conduct TADC at their respective locations, pending availability of the instructors and facilitators. Commanders and Supervisors must have a coordinator/liaison on ground at their location to facilitate the training. MTTs will be conducted on a by request basis and prioritized based off of need and availability.

  • Requirements for outside a 50 mile radius of TADC instructor:
    • 10 students minimum, 5 of which must be WOCS and/or OCS applicants preparing to attend class within the year.
    • Private classroom area with minimal noise/distractions.
    • White board, markers and internet connectivity.
    • Food and lodging.
    • On ground unit coordinator/liaison.
  • Requirements for within a 50 mile radius of TADC instructor:
    • 7 students minimum, 4 of which must be WOCS and/or OCS applicants preparing to attend class within the year.
    • Private classroom area with minimal noise/distractions.
    • White board, markers, internet connectivity.
    • On ground unit coordinator/liaison.
