Testing Services Offered
1. Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT)
DLPT is utilized to assess your current proficiency in a specific foreign language, consisting of both reading and listening components.
•Used for language pay, validating language skill levels, or meeting MOS requirements.
•Taken after you've studied or already know a foreign language.
•You may receive College Credits for DLPT’s
2. Defense Language Aptitude Battery Test (DLAB)
DLAB evaluates your potential for acquiring a foreign language. Audio-based and logic-focused, it tests your cognitive abilities in areas such as grammar comprehension, pattern recognition, and memory retention, all while employing a constructed language.
•Required if you're applying to a language-dependent MOS.
•Predicts aptitude, not actual language proficiency.
3. Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT)
AFCT serves as a retake for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), specifically tailored for currently serving military personnel.
•MOS Reclassification
•Qualify for special programs (like OCS, WOCS.)
•Improve a prior ASVAB score
•Meet promotion or commissioning requirements

Register to Take a Test
You will need to upload your DA-4187. Select the form below that best meets your testing needs.
To ensure a smooth testing process, all tests must be accompanied by a DA 4187 form, which should be signed by the Unit Commander. Please submit this form no later than two weeks prior to the scheduled test date. Keep in mind that we cannot accommodate walk-ins, so appointments are necessary. Thank you for your understanding!
Once your DA 4187 is submitted, it will go through a review process. You will receive an email confirmation once your appointment is approved. Please note: your appointment is not complete until you receive this confirmation.
