Requesting Educational Institution Access to ARNG Military Installations/Facilities and/or Organized Events
IAW DoDI 1322.25 all Education Institutions (EI) must submit installation (armory or facility rented by the Army) access request through the Education Services Officer (ESO). Installation access requests are submitted through Army IgnitED.

Requesting Access
All Installation Access requests submitted are reviewed by the Education Services Officer (ESO), the Adjutant General's top advisor in all matters related to voluntary education. Approval is needed to prevent the unscrupulous practice of using unfair, deceptive, abusive, misleading material, advertising or sales tactics or literature to target or solicit Service Members for the purpose of encouraging the member to sign up for one of the institutions' programs.
Using or leveraging any third party organization, marketing form or company to engage is prohibited.
Checklist for Installation Access Requests (need to include the following):
- Educational Institution name and intent/purpose of the visit.
- Number and names of educational institution representative(s) requesting access.
- Counseling delivery method and proposed date of visit (presentation, appointment)
- Communication process used to inform students of their availability for counseling.
- Agreement to provide a list of Soldiers counseled during their visit.
Required for Approval:
- Have a signed Voluntary Education Partnership MOU with DoD
- Have 20 or more ARNG Soldiers enrolled in Army IgnitED and assigned to the TXARNG.
- Confirmation that Education Institution approved for use of veterans' education benefits.
- Verification that Education Institution is accredited by a national or regional accrediting body recognized by the Department of Education.
