The Texas Military Department is committed to supporting the overall well-being, resilience, and readiness of our service members as they carry out missions in support of the State of Texas and the United States. Recognizing the importance of the whole Soldier concept, the Department promotes a comprehensive approach to human performance and wellness.

This approach is built around five core domains of readiness: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Nutritional, and Sleep. These domains form the foundation of personal readiness and long-term resilience. The Department of Defense outlines these principles in detail within FM 7-22, which guides the development, training, and sustainment of healthy service members.

The resources provided through this program are designed to strengthen each of these readiness domains and support service members in becoming more capable, adaptable, and mission-ready.

If you have questions or need additional information about this initiative, please reach out to the program’s designated points of contact.

Fuel your body, steady your mind, strengthen your spirit, prioritize rest—and strive to become the best version of yourself.
