Citizen airmen move pallets of canned goods and fresh produce from Tarrant Area Food Bank trucks June 30th, 2020, in Arlington, Texas. The drive-through food bank boasts one of the largest food runs during the COVID-19 response mission serving more than 1,500 families in a day. Major General Tracy R. Norris, the Adjutant General of Texas, receives a rapid COVID-19 screening test as a preventative measure in order to maintain force readiness. The Texas Military Department has begun distributing rapid COVID-19 tests to its service members across the state as a force health protection measure. This will ensure that the Soldiers and Airmen serving their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic remain healthy and safe.
