Texas National Guard Releases Name of Soldier
AUSTIN, Texas (July 6, 2023) – The Texas Military Department announced the death of a Texas National Guard Soldier Thursday.
Spc. Anthony Hernandez-Dominguez, 21, Houston, Texas, died June 28, 2023, in a non-duty related incident near Bakersfield, Texas.
The cause of death is under investigation.
He was assigned 636th Military Intelligence Battalion, 71st Troop Command of the Texas Army National Guard as a Geo-spatial Imagery Intelligence analyst.
He enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard in August 2020. His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
