Texas National Guard Releases Name of Soldier
AUSTIN, Texas (November 28, 2023) – The Texas Military Department announced the death of a Texas National Guard Soldier November 23, 2023.
Spc. Andrew Fredrick Blakely, 21, Ennis, Texas, died November 23, 2023, near Laredo, Texas.
The cause of death is under investigation.
He was assigned to Company Bravo, 2nd Battalion, 142nd Infantry Regiment serving in support of Operation Lone Star Task Force Center.
