Texas National Guard Announces Death of Soldier

 

AUSTIN, Texas (July 18, 2022) – The Texas Military Department announces the death of a Texas National Guard Soldier on Friday.

Spc. Pedro Ronaldo Perez, 22, Plano, Texas, died July 15, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. The accident occurred late Friday night near Laredo, Texas.

Spc. Ronaldo Perez was assigned as a medic to 156th Engineer Battalion, 56th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division. He was on state active duty serving as member of Joint Task Force Operation Lone Star.
