Texas Military Department Announces the Death of Soldier

 

AUSTIN, Texas (October 4, 2022) – A Texas Army National Guard Soldier assigned to Operation Lone Star died, while on duty Tuesday.

“We are deeply saddened to have lost one of our own today. We extend our deepest condolences to the family,” said Maj. Gen. Thomas Suelzer, The Texas Adjutant General.  

Texas Rangers are leading the investigation.  The name of the deceased is being withheld until notification of the next of kin.
