The following are procedures and requirements put forth by the Camp Mabry Garrison Command Office for 5k events occurring on Camp Mabry:

TRAFFIC CONTROL
The event organizer shall provide and install cones and directional signs during the event at points designated by the Camp Mabry Provost Marshall. Event organizers are required to provide a minimum of 12 Road Marshalls/Course Monitors for traffic control during the event.

LIABILITY INSURANCE
Proof of general liability insurance coverage is required to protect the event organizer/sponsor and Texas Military Forces/Camp Mabry from third party liability for any personal injury or property damage sustained or alleged to result from participation in an event at Camp Mabry. In addition, event organizers are required to maintain a medical response plan and maintain (on event day) paid or voluntary medical personnel with (at minimum) the capability to address abrasions, contusions, heat injuries, and cardiac events.

SANITATION AND OTHER RESOURCES
Camp Mabry facilities will not be available to race/walk participants during the event. The event organizer must furnish portable toilets and hand washing stations in a number sufficient to meet the needs of event attendees. Procurement and placement  of portable latrines is the sole responsibility of the race organizer.

Water and portable power remain the sole responsibility of the event organizer.

CLEANUP AFTER THE EVENT
Garbage hauling and disposal are the sole responsibility of the event organizer; however, volunteers may dispose of trash in existing dumpsters on Camp Mabry. All debris resulting from the event must be removed by the end of the rental period. Areas will be inspected after the event and an invoice for payment will be sent for any cleaning costs that exceed the deposit.

PET POLICY
Camp Mabry contains an indigenous population of wild animals. In order to protect the health and safety of resident wildlife and also protect event participants, event organizers must notify participants of the NO PET policy. An exception is granted for service animals.

FRAUDULENT INFORMATION
Willful submission of inaccurate, false, or fraudulent information at any time during the event planning process will result in cancellation of the event.
