Pakiza ButlerPakiza Butler began her journey into the world of counseling from the classroom experience in 2001. While teaching the young students in a title I school she realized the huge need of guidance in other aspects of her students’ lives besides education. Encouraged by her passion to touch the lives of her students and their parents Pakiza entered the counseling program and graduated from University of Houston-Victoria with honors.

During her internship with Texana Center; a behavioral agency she was inspired to pursue her LPC certification. After completing her LPC in 2013 she joined the Fort Bend County Jail as a Mental Health Professional. The experience there made her realize that she has chosen the correct path as she thoroughly enjoyed working with the inmates. Eventually when the opportunity appeared to work with the Texas Military Department; it was hard to pass it especially as a spouse of a Marine. Pakiza loves to travel, nature walk, read and good conversations.
