Lydia Quintero received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. She has been practicing as a licensed professional counselor since 2017. Counseling service members for the Texas Military Department is a privilege as her grandfather and uncle served in the Vietnam war. She's had the opportunity to work with veterans, their spouses and families in the community and is honored to serve service members throughout Texas.

Her professional experience includes but is not limited to community-based behavioral health services including forensic settings. She has built expertise in trauma, anxiety and grief. Her experience in clinical leadership and critical response deployments developed her specialties in self-care for individuals and professionals, crisis intervention and interpersonal relationships.
