Soldiers, Airmen, civil authorities and volunteers are coming together during this time of need along the Texas coast in response to Hurricane Harvey. With search and recovery missions in flood waters on the ground and in the air, the Texas Military Department and the 36th Infantry Division will not stop until the job is done and everyone is safe.

General Lengyel visits Ellington Field

147th Attack Wing (Texas Air National Guard)

 

General Joseph Lengyel, the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, arrived at Ellington Field Joint Reserve base today. The General talked with base leadership then gave thanks to military members and departed in a Blackhawk to assess flood affected areas of Texas.
