TMD Senior Leaders support TMD members in communicating concerns that impact strategic objectives as well as readiness and retention.

The Texas Military Department offers a mechanism for its members to provide feedback to senior leaders. The Adjutant General encourages the use of this mechanism to communicate ideas, solutions, recommendations, and organizational feedback.

Feedback will be consolidated by the TMD J7 Directorate prior to senior leader review. Submission authors may request anonymity or choose to supply contact information for follow-up.

NOTE: This communication mechanism is not intended to replace existing chain of command reporting mechanisms, communication with the Office of the Inspector General, or installation feedback submitted through ICE.

COMREL Request:

The Texas Military Department (TMD) strives to educate the citizens of Texas about the missions, roles and capabilities of our Citizen Soldiers and Airmen serving in the National Guard. As a community-based organization with Service members in most communities throughout the state, the Texas Military Department supports and participates in events, such as parades, ceremonies and air shows and makes it a mission to be a good neighbor and community partner.

We encourage event organizers to read through the information and download the necessary forms to request military support from the Texas Military Department. All requests for community support should be submitted at least 150 days in advance. Requests received within 15 days of the event will NOT be considered.

You can visit the Camp Mabry Recycling Center during normal business hours M-F, 0800 - 1600 to inspect recyclable materials offered for sale. Call or email ahead to be sure someone will be present.  The Recycling Center is located in Bldg 58A, behind the Post Exchange (PX) building.
